Dr. Jacqueline Walters, widely known as America’s most beloved OB-GYN “Dr. Jackie” on Bravo’s Married to Medicine, has become a fan favorite due to her

As a two-time breast cancer survivor, Dr. Walters has transformed her personal struggles into a passionate mission to support the health and wellness of Black women. She is the founder of 50 Shades of Pink, an organization dedicated to championing health equity for Black women by addressing systemic barriers and promoting fair access to comprehensive healthcare, education, and support services. The organization is committed to empowering Black women to thrive in all aspects of their health and well-being, with a particular focus on cultural advancement, preventive care, and self-advocacy.

 

Dr. Walters' educational background includes two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Mississippi and Alcorn State University, followed by a medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Mercer University. Adding to her list of accomplishments, Dr. Walters is a best-selling author of the feminine health book, The Queen V.

As an award-winning OB-GYN, Dr. Walters is on a mission to educate the Black community on critical health issues and eliminate racial disparities in healthcare. Her upcoming campaign, “If We Are Dying More, We Should Be Doing More,” aims to highlight health inequalities disproportionately affecting Black women and men, covering topics from heart disease to maternal mortality, and advocating for actionable steps to end these disparities.
